Job Description
The Logistics Officer is overall responsible for providing the supply chain needs/requirements of the project including procuring all program supplies and services, accounting for all assets, managing stocks, and managing fleet concerns.
Renew Bolo of all company-owned vehicles
Renew insurance of all company-owned vehicles
Planning preventive maintenance of all company-owned vehicles
Check maintenance done by the external garage
Order (spare parts) for cars
Install GPS and check functionality on all distribution cars
Check the effective working of cooling vans and plan maintenance when required
Report on technical state of all cars (Sales, Dairy Development, Rental cars, personal cars)
Daily checking of vehicle status following the check list formats
Record and report any vehicle maintenance service and costs with plate number and KM
Follow-up and resolve issues related to vehicle rental service providers
Conduct technical inspection and ensure vehicles roadworthiness before deploying to the sales after service
Analyses monthly fleet report and report to management
Prepare preventive maintenance work order
Prepare corrective service request
Monitor and request renewal of waivers
Hand in car key for all sales vehicles to guards and avoid taking keys to home
Any other task as assigned by your manager
BSc Degree in Logistics/Transport, Supply Management, Management &related fields with minimum of 3 years or Diploma 5 years relevant experience
Ability to dictate problems and Analyze
Result Orientation
Good communication skill
Good knowledge of handling procurement systems
Good written and spoken English
Ability to plan with good organizational skills, including prioritization and ability to work under pressure
Must have driving skill
