Job’s General Objective፡-
To contribute to the effectiveness of Dugda Construction by ensuring the preparation of reliable and on time financial report, compliance with government tax obligation, and ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
Involves in the hiring, transfer, suspension decisions, layoff, dismissal or assignment of employees
Coaches, mentors, and develops staff, including overseeing new employee on boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall expectations of the Company and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
Leads employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contributions;
Exercises administrative decisions in his/her own work teams that includes employee recognition, rewards and disciplinary action with the assistance of Human Resource Department.
Prepares work plan, oversees the performance of tasks within the work unit and produces periodic performance reports.
Establishes and maintains relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operations of the work unit
Disbursements:
Assumes responsibility for the proper disbursements for the acquisition of goods and services, taxes, loan repayments, contributions, salaries and benefits, etc.
Ensures requests for payments are proper and all necessary documents are attached.
Financial Statements:
Produces timely financial statements.
Reconciles the statements with appropriate accounts and other documents as required.
Prepares and submits year-end statements to External Auditors and facilitates the external audit process
Ensures that monthly payments with regard to income tax, withholding tax and interest tax on deposits are made in time.
Arranges and facilitates various financial reports and documents to external auditors and Inland Revenue Authority for examination
Reviews the chart of accounts of the Company from time to time and initiates addition and deletion of accounts to circularize the changes.
Ensures that inventory of fixed assets agree with the fixed asset register in detail and with the fixed asset account in total.
Follows up reconciliation of stationary and other printed materials on hand with the ledger balance
Reviews and checks established accounting procedures are properly maintained and recommends improvements.
Monitors budget implementation of the Company and reports significant deviation for timely action
Follows up the reconciliation and clearance of all suspense accounts and checks the preparation of credit summary
Ensures that timely closure of income and expense accounts.
Perform any other assignment from the immediate supervisor
Minimum BA Degree in Accounting
At least 8 plus years of relevant experience in Manufacturing/Production industry out of which 3 years on a senior level experience
Knowledge of construction, Manufacturing and or production sector is a plus.
