Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns;
Make sure adequate record keeping is in place and verify all documentation to confirm proper stock levels are in place;
Maintain inventory control and initiates action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level reached maximum limits;
Reported on a regular basis regarding the need/demand so that future orders could be placed accordingly;
Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom;
Create purchase orders and utilize purchasing cards to perform low-value procurement activities
Arrange stock items as per the guideline and coordinate the disposal of excess items;
Inspect items delivery to avoid receipt of damages and timely report for reimbursements, if any;
Responsible for packing, labelling, and returning damaged supplies when necessary;
Another task as assigned by your supervisor
Academic qualification
Degree in procurement and supply management, Accounting, management or related fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of five years proved work experience
Additional qualifications
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Good Command of English, both writing and speaking;
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
Ability to work in team and individually;
Well-organized and ethical work culture
Skills to operate common office equipment
