Advertising Client Service (Marketing Account Executive)

Role Description
The advertising client service executive or marketing account executive, is the link between the client and the entire agency team. Along with their team the account manager acts as both the salesperson for the agency and as the client's representative within the agency.
Involve communicating with existing or new clients to develop their account, coordinating with agency departments to create and implement marketing campaigns, and resolving any issues that arise.
Core Activities and Responsibilities:
Activities and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Act as the link between the client and the agency and ensure communication flows smoothly and effectively
Creating a portfolio of client accounts and monitoring the ongoing activities related to them.
Identify resource needs and work with managers to assign individual responsibilities
Deliver high-quality work focused on the client’s needs
Write and edit a variety of client materials (e.g., strategic memos, presentations, emails, media reports, pitches, etc.)
Prepare ongoing program measurement and progress report
Familiarize oneself with the brand guidelines and ensure that the production is carried out accurately. • Managing, reviewing progress and delivering the client’s advertisement projects.
Conducting meetings with the clients as well as informing them about the current work status of their projects.
Prepare minutes after every meeting, share with the client for alignment and debriefing the internal team.
Prepare quotations, payment requests and follow up payments after every project.
Ensure that each project is done within the given time frame, budget and specifications
Establishing relationships with new clients and maintaining and nurturing business relationships with existing clients.
Conducting market research to identify new opportunities for the company’s products or services
Monitoring competitors’ activities in order to identify their strategies for growth within their industry
Identifying accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to address any ‘at risk’ customers and reach out to these accounts to ensure they are retained.
Monitoring work performance of colleagues and setting sales targets.
Consistently seek ways to improve client services
Assist in successfully growing the existing account
Recruiting and training new account executives.
Perform other duties as assigned

Good leadership qualities.
Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demanding targets.
Strong deal closing and negotiation skills.
High level of analytical and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Real understanding of print and web advertising opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity, initiative combined with commercial awareness.
Open to graduates of any discipline.
