Job Description

Addis Ababa University, College of Natural Sciences is seeking to fill in the following vacant position in the School of Earth Sciences

Qualification

  • The applicant must possess a PhD degree Geophysics in Exploration Geophysics specialization in Potential Field Methods (Gravity and Magnetic) and hold the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in Geophysics from a recognized university.

Work Experience

  • At least 20 years of experience in teaching Geophysics courses in the mentioned fields and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc and PhD) candidates, preferably in Ethiopian Higher Education Institutions Proven track record in Geophysics, especially in Potential Methods. Publications in international journals of repute
