Job Description

The food and beverage service supervisor directs and schedules kitchen, bar staff and food and beverage servers. During peak hours they may assist in seating or serving customers and ensure the cleanliness and general look of the dining room.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

  1. Enforces, documents, and establishes adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets, and ensures controls will satisfy or improve the level of guest service

  2. Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analyzes, interpretations, and projections to management as required

  3. Conducts monthly inspections and tests to ensure all departments are complying with required procedures

  4. Follows up on all capital expenditures to ensure compliance with original justification and approval

  5. To follow the deadline of the corporate office in terms of Month-end reporting

  6. Obtains appropriate legal counsel regarding the business practices of the hotel, and maintains awareness of local rules, laws, and regulations

  7. Implements and maintains acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and those affected by local conditions

  8. Maintains professional, proactive, and technical competence in own field

  9. Provides safekeeping, including proper storage and access for all contracts, leases, and other financial records

  10. Recommends and maintains an appropriate list of delegation of authority for hotel management

  11. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned and required

  12. Analyzes and assists Human Resources Manager in regard to employment contracts of new employees

  13. To follow the deadline of the corporate office in terms of Month-end reporting.

  14. Utilizes leadership skills and motivation to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction

  15. Monitors hotel’s overall service and teamwork daily, and makes recommendations for improvement to Department Heads

  16. Selects and develops strategies to improve guest service and efficiency

  17. Direct and manage receiving and storeroom functions

Job Requirements

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications.

  • EDUCATION:  BA Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Managment, Hotel & Tourism Managment or related field

  • EXPERIENCE: Total years of experience 3 years in Supervision    

  • LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Good command of English language skill is mandatory. Read, write, comprehend and well-spoken in English language
