Job Description
The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organization.

Skill, Experience, Knowledge & Competencies
BSc in Environment Health Science, Public Health, Health Officer, or related fields that can add value to the post.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Public Health Promotion, Emergency WASH, public health promotion, community mobilization, and experience in INGO organization.
Experience in emergency response (Drought, AWD, and refugee camps) is essential.
Experience and understanding of community mobilization in relation to water, sanitation, and hygiene activities.
Very Good Communication and writing skills in the English language.
Knowing the local language (Somali Language) is an asset.
Desired
Knowledge of preparation of IEC material for promoting key public health practices
Good knowledge of supervision techniques
Experience in participative methods
Able to travel and work in conflict-affected areas
Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts
