Job Description

Addis Ababa University, College of Natural Sciences is seeking to fill in the following vacant position in the School of Earth Sciences.

Qualification

  • The applicant must possess a PhD degree in Engineering Geology, specialization in soil & rock mechanics and hold the rank of Assistant Professor or above from a recognized university.

Work Experience

  • At least 20 years of experience in teaching

  • The applicant must possess a PhD degree Geophysics courses in the mentioned fields and in Exploration Geophysics specialization supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate in Potential Field Methods (Gravity and(MSc and Ph.D.) candidates, preferably magnetic) and hold the rank of Associate Ethiopian Higher Education Institutions.

  • Professor or Professor in Geophysics with a Proven track record in Geophysics, especially in potential methods.

  • Publications in international journals of repute

Salary :  according to the University scale, and other requirement consistent with the senate Legislation
