Job Description

The Community Liaison Officer is responsible for developing and managing a program based on community demographics and post-specific needs. Development and implementation of the program have a direct impact on post morale and affect overall work performance, productivity, retention, community spirit, and individual and family well-being

Job Requirements

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: 

Must have a sound understanding of expatriate (and preferably diplomatic) life

You must be able to demonstrate excellent written and spoken English

Must be comfortable using Word, Excel, and Outlook

You will need to be able to work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills

The successful candidate must be sympathetic, discrete and a good listener

Location (City): Addis Ababa

Salary: USD 635.75 – USD 906.92 per month

Job Requirements

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

Postgraduate qualification in Public Health and or other relevant professional qualification or experience

Experience of devising, implementing and delivering public health workforce initiatives across various countries and/or organizations

Extensive experience of working in the field of public health workforce development in Africa, preferably in a multilateral organization

Proven track record of cross-team and cross organization collaboration, ability to build and nurture key relationships and maintain effective networks

Experience of organizing and managing events at a regional and global levels

Knowledge of, and a keen interest in the health sector and cultural in Africa

Experience of working in or with senior stakeholders in government ministries, departments, or agencies and similar institutions in Africa

Location (City): Addis Ababa

Salary : USD 2,118.83 (gross monthly)
