JOB SUMMARY

Under immediate supervision, the Programs Manager, Emergency Outreach Team Co-ordinates, the whole operation of the outreach team ensuring efficient and quality sexual and reproductive health service (SRH) provision to internally displaced people and community in accordance with accepted standard medical practice and professional codes of conduct.

He/she is a responsible person to liaise with the government office and other stakeholders in the intervention area representing MSIE.

As outreach team coordinator will oversee the following:

• Ensuring that the annual planning process is carried out and plans are updated, according to the policies and strategies of the organization. 

• Coordinating the implementation of team activities, according to the objectives, actions and time frames outlined in the annual plan.

• Formalizing partnerships with community-based partners, developing together with them

• Supporting community-based partners to develop a clear plan for capacity development and provide relevant support towards realization of that plan.

• Supporting the development of strong local networks of relevant stakeholders,

• Ensuring effective coordination skill and develop team sprit among colloquies.

• Establishing mechanism for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the project

• Carrying out stakeholder analysis, to identify key stakeholders within the selected community

• Documenting and sharing good practices and lessons learned with colleagues to support organizational learning.

• Undertakes any other activities as required by immediate supervisor and/or the technical lead of the Emergency SRH teams

Job Requirements

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Degree in Nursing or in Public Health with a minimum of four to six years’

• Direct relevant experience.

• Ability to withstand pressures
