Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) that aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major programs; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development; Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and Lobby & advocacy. DEC works in five National Regional States of Amhara, Afar, Gambela, Oromia Benishangul and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit on the following position: 

Job Description

• Experience in gender mainstreaming and training on gender equality and social inclusion.

• Experience in ensuring gender mainstreaming on project implement

• Support in managing close relationships with relevant local and national stakeholders to advance cooperation and collaboration

• Working on Youth engagement and referral linkage with health facilities

• Ensure DEC safeguarding policies are implemented at all levels in its project site;

• Facilitating technical training and workshops related to the project;

• Designing a strategy to reach youths and girls in society;

• Assure that the project is well organized and runs smoothly;

• Prepare communications reports for the project management team and donor;

• Develop quality and timely reports;

• Organize and facilitate field visits and work with communities

Job Requirements

Education

• BA /BSc/ Sociology, Health, and related fields,

• At least 2 years of related and proven experience in the NGO sector

Skills      

• Proven experience in writing reports, communications, and compiling necessary data

• Good knowledge and skill in project cycle management

• Ability to work in the  hard to reach areas

• Ability to use a computer . .

• Willing to provide technical support for Becho /Tulubolo and Bedele Area 

Age Below 35
