Job Overview

•    We are looking for a travel agent who is responsible, punctual, passionate and enthusiastic about traveling who will oversee the travel necessities made for business or vacation and give tourism-related professional advice.

• You will book reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and other different services. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel services

• Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them of appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations

• Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees

• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages

• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds

• Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends

• Enter data into our software and maintain client files

• Maintain statistical and financial records

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills

• Certificate of reservation & ticketing.

• Proven work experience of airlines and reservations and travel agent for more than 6 years

• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDs………

• Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus.

• Capable of handling all kinds of clients, emails and multitasking.

• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness

• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively Sound

• knowledge of domestic and international travel trends

• Team worker who is readily adaptable with the teams and environment.

• Degree in, Travel, Tourism, Business or a relevant field is preferable
