Job Description
Purpose statement
Under the general supervision of Head- C&B, counsels and provides information to employees on all matters relating to leave, insurance, termination payment, medical claim and other related areas. Specific duties and responsibilities of the HR officer includes tracking employee work hours, updating records when an employee's status changes, answering Salary and Benefit questions, leave management, over time and performing calculations with bonuses, taxes and other deductions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets.
Collect attendance report from the attendance machines for payroll preparation.
Follow all changes related to shift, time of work, rates, working date.
Prepare piece rate employees’ compensation by the end of each week/month using payroll software.
Calculate employees’ compensation, updating the payroll databases and ensuring timely payments for piece rate employees.
Prepare final termination payment.
Answer questions about leave balance, medical benefits, taxes, insurance deductions and other C&B related employee's request.
Oversees the timekeeping of employee in all work units.
Collect and prepared overtime payment for employees.
Collect data from new employee for insurance inclusion and pension scheme.
Facilitate the inclusion of the new employee to the insurance immediately upon employment.
Facilitate the insurance claim process for any work-related accidents.
Collect and organize any documents related to employee’s insurance.
Facilitate the medical claim refund process.
Facilitate staff medical reimbursement in collaboration with insurance company.
Follow, update and keep staff leave (annual, sick, maternity, paternity etc.) on time.
Prepare leave balance report on monthly, semi- Annual and annual base.
Receiving request of transport Fee and encoding to the system.
Prepare payment for medical service provider.
Based on the collective agreement & safety guideline preparing employees list for safety material distribution.
Responsible to ensure personal as well as another employees’ safety in the workplace, observe safety standards and live up to the standard.
Report safety incidents timely to EHS Head or immediate Supervisor for possible corrective action.
Participate as EHS Ambassador, in safety leadership team, safety and another committee related to EHS.
Qualifications:
BA Degree in Human Resources Management/ Management/Business Administration or other related fields of study.
A minimum 2 years’ experience in an FMCG industry in compensation & benefit management, recruitment, staff performance management, training and development and/or other related activities
Competencies:
Reporting skills.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in using MS offices and systems.
Solid understanding of different benefit plans.
Understanding of data recording and analysis
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities
