Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, manufacturing, real estate development and transit and forwarding. Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adem Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 450 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

Purpose of the Job:

To support the HR Service operation by assisting the recruitment, on boarding, learning, employee record management and development activities of the company. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Recruit staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates. 

  • Interpret and advise on employment law. • Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures. 

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.

  • Perform other HR activities when found necessary.

Job Requirements

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field 

Work Experience:

  • At least 4 (four) years of work experience in the mentioned position. 

  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.

  • Ability to work sensitively in a multicultural environment and build effective working relations with clients and colleagues. 

  • Show problem solving and analytical skills. •

  • Fluency in Amharic and English, written and verbal is mandatory.
