Job Description
An HR Specialist is a professional responsible for monitoring all Human Resource functions. They prepare compensation and benefits packages, set up company policies, maintain updated employee records and ensure a healthy workplace by providing HR procedures.
Prepare/revise department and corporate organization structure in line with the strategy.
Follow up JD & JS preparation and review in line with the standard.
Make sure new positions have Job grade & Salary scale are implemented.
Conduct job evaluation internally and externally and create job ranking and classification.
Organize the recruitment and selection processes in the company and ensure talented candidates who fit the job requirement are recruited.
Auditing and assessing learning and development needs.
Conduct training need assessment.
Identify individual gap assessment.
Developing training plans.
Prepare training curriculum, training content, training material.
Managing the organization’s learning systems.
Implementing training plans.
Conduct post training assessments, case studies and evaluate.
Design employee development plan and implementation.
Conduct training and facilitate with training providing vendors to conduct trainings.
Collecting feedback.
Ensuring certifications are logged and captured in the HRMS.
Monitoring organizational performance improvements.
Managing internal and external trainers.
Managing the training budget.
Compile and avail all necessary reports.
Supports the supervisors in determining training needs of their team, discuss those needs with the department Directors and assists him/her in determining appropriate staff development plans.
Facilitates the implementation of RSDPLC performance appraisal system; ensures that managers are equipped with the necessary skills to conduct probationary evaluations and annual appraisals.
Handle employee relations and conduct employee relations counseling.
Assists and advises line managers in grievance/complaint handling and disciplinary matters
Monitors and manages employee relations issues, maintains confidential records related to grievances and complaints and coordinates their resolution; conducts investigations and liaises with legal consultants to resolve cases when needed.
Ensures transparent, fair and consistent application of disciplinary measures.
Reviews and provides advice on policies that would prevent recurring conflicting situations.
Provides information, interpretation and advice on the company’s HR policy, local employment law to staff and management.
Oversees administration of all employee status changes such as promotion, transfers, salary increase, terminations etc.
Assist in designing and implementation of a comprehensive communication plan whereby the employees are kept abreast of issues related to HR matters.
Ensure letters are prepared to external stockholders and employees as per the request received
Ensures strict confidentiality with respect to all HR file management and correspondences.
Ensure employees exit smoothly (clearance finalization, work experience and another documents finalization.)
Participates and assists work units in carrying out performance appraisal of their staff.
Ensure timely performance management (evaluations) is undertaken in company.
Generally, work on all HR process improvement, standardization, automation etc.
Qualifications:
BA Degree in Human Resources Management/ Management/Business Administration/Psychology or other related fields of study.
A minimum 5 years’ experience is in recruitment, staff performance management, training and development, and/or other related activities out of which three years in senior or equivalent capacity
Competencies:
Training facilitation and curriculum designing skill
Exceptional computer skill, excel, word, VISO, ppt etc.
Communication, Report and Writing skill
Organizational ability
Hands on experience of end-to-end recruitment processes.
Persuasion and facilitation skill
Knowledge of labor law and HR trends
