The main purpose of job

Direct and control the company’s technique and related workshop function to ensure the provision of comprehensive maintenance and engineering service so that all processes, transport trucks, and other equipment are developed and maintained to agreed standards.

• Monitor all transport and service trucks maintenance work to ensure that it is carried out to the required standard and within agreed budget levels.

• Direct and control all the special, scheduled, and irregular repair and maintenance works to ensure that they are completed to the standards required within agreed timescales and to the agreed budget level.

• Provide expertise and technical advice on all aspects of repair and maintenance work process and order management to all staff to bring the system to function and ensure effective decision making.

• See that employees assigned in the department do execute their assignments

• Ensures that preventive, corrective, breakdown, and overhauls are efficiently carried out.

• Controls the smooth operations of field maintenance services by arranging maintenance crews

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or related engineering fields.

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience

• Transport Company experience is advantageous

• Leadership skill in technic and workshop management

• Good knowledge of the transport industry

• Ability to solve technical problems

• Good human relations, motivational and communication skills

• Proficiency in the knowledge and use of modern maintenance tools, techniques, and standards

• Good project management skills

• Good computer skills

• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
