The Share Company is the first education-based share company established with the aim of providing high-quality education from kindergarten through tertiary education. It was organized by professors from Addis Ababa University and other educational institutions' lecturers who are experts in the field. Currently, the company has obtained accreditation to offer master’s programs (MSc in Project Management, Analysis, and Evaluation and MSc in Accounting and Finance) at its Addis Ababa Campus. Furthermore, our Bahirdar Campus is accredited to offer master's programs (MSc in Project Management, Analysis and Evaluation, and MBA) as well as degree programs (BA in Accounting and Finance and Marketing Management). The company would like to recruit one internal auditor for the head office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans

• Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc

• Keep abreast with all legislations issued by the government as well as directives issued by supervisory authorities and advise all units within the company about such new developments which may affect the company

• Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff

• Review the performance and activities of retention advocates

• Follow up Third Party Recovery and collection through amicable means

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports

• Perform similar duties as may be assigned by the supervisor;

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance  

• Work experience:  Zero and above

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work well within a team and individually.

• Demonstrated writing capacity in English
