Allure Communications is a creative-led experiential event production company and content creation studio that is tailor-made for the new African millennial.  We are looking for a designer with experience managing and leading a brand to join our team supporting a client in a fulltime role.  

Responsibilities 

• Create animated graphics, visual effects and video content for a wide array of digital media, including website, social media (paid/organic), paid ads, animated logos, video marketing, brand storytelling and more

• Adapt visual concepts to multiple mediums including web, tablet and mobile

• Collaborate with Marketing Director, as well as other Marketing team members, to build out campaigns and support larger Marketing goals while maintaining and evolving visual identity

• Take initiative on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutions involving animations and videos to engage and convert new leads

• Take ownership over Ideate, produce and edit video content across all Marketing channels

• Communicate clearly and effectively with the broader Marketing team and key external project stakeholders regarding work brief, requirements and deadlines.

Job Requirements

• A strong portfolio of design/animation work showing a mastery of color, use of typefaces, composition, photography, and varied styles of design.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with at least 1 -2 years of hands-on agency or in-house experience in graphic design work across a variety of applications, ideally in hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle arenas with a primary focus on motion.

• Have a great understanding of design principles and work confidently with storyboards, typography, and photography,.

• Be able to implement animation principles into branding and to come up with new unique overarching concepts to guide motion graphics.
