Job Description

A project coordinator is responsible for developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time and within budget and scope. The project coordinator is also accountable for allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. The project coordinator is in charge of coordinating project activities within the framework of achieving the company's vision and goals.

 Duties and Responsibility 

  • Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders

  • Assisting the management team with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks

  • Scheduling and facilitating communication between the project team and management throughout the project life cycle

  • Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement as directed by the project manager

  • Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks, such as billing and bookkeeping.

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.

  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings

  • Providing administrative support as needed and undertaking project tasks as required

  • Developing project strategies and creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

  • Ensuring that projects adhere to frameworks and that all documentation for each project is kept up to date.

  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • A furniture manufacturing designer professional certification advantageous.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in furniture manufacturing design, fine arts, and interior design or related filed.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Furniture manufacturing designing experience

Skills and behaviors

  • A solid understanding of project management phases.

  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Competency in project management software and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work on tight deadlines and attention to detail
