Job Description
Technical Advisor defines and develops applications for technical designs. Coordinating technical activities. Supporting team members in their programming activities. Researching and creating strategic management, operational, and financial plans.
International Health Regulations Strengthening Project – Technical Advisor: Public Health Workforce Development (UKHSA) – (15/22 ADD).
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
Postgraduate qualification in Public Health and or other relevant professional qualification or experience
Experience in devising, implementing, and delivering public health workforce initiatives across various countries and/or organizations
Extensive experience working in the field of public health workforce development in Africa, preferably in a multilateral organization
Proven track record of cross-team and cross-organization collaboration, ability to build and nurture key relationships and maintain effective networks
Experience of organizing and managing events at a regional and global levels
Knowledge of, and a keen interest in the health sector and cultural in Africa
Experience of working in or with senior stakeholders in government ministries, departments, or agencies and similar institutions in Africa
Location (City): Addis Ababa
Salary : USD 2,118.83 (gross monthly)
