Develops, plans, and implements curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student audiences within areas of expertise. Advises, tests, and teaches students audiences in a variety of academic subjects. Presents and reinforces learning concepts within a specified subject or subject area.

Job requirements

• MA/M.Sc. in Civics MED & Above MA/M.Sc.

• Masters degree (Secondary School teaching Masters) in Secondary School Subjects (CGPA of 3.50 and above for male and 3.25 and above for female) and CGPA of 3.25 and 3.00 at BA/BSc. For males and females respectively

• 5 years of relevant work experience in teaching at Secondary Schools Average teaching efficiency of more than 85% for two consecutive years.

• Evidence of a good track record and work discipline (efficiency and recommendation letters from woreda education office or other relevant Office)

• Pass mark (at least 50%) in entrance exam (both oral and written)

• Free from any substance abuse
