Job Summery

The waiter /waitress is responsible for ensuring customers have positive experience at the restaurant by exhibiting excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Prepare tables by setting up napkins, silver ware and glass.

·         Welcoming and escort customers to their tables

·         Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (About portion, ingredients  or potential food allergies)

·         Offer menu recommendation up on request  

·         Take accurate food and beverage order using order slip  and communicate order detail to kitchen staff

·         Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff & look presentable to guests

·         Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meal /drinks

·         Provide excellent customer service to guests

·         Carry dirty plates , glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning 

·         Deliver bill and collect  payments

·         Perform other duties assigned when assigned. 

Job Requirements

·         10 +2 / diploma in food and beverage service, hotel management COC certification

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience

·         Excellent communication skill in English & Amharic

·         Strong customer ordination & maintain attention to detail

·         Flexibility to work in shifts
