ICT network engineers implement, maintain and support computer networks. They also perform network modelling, analysis, and planning. They may also design network and computer security measures. They may research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Duties & Responsibilities

¨  Designing and implementing the company's network infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues

¨  Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

¨  Configure and install software, servers, core routers, endpoint security, wireless access points, circuits      controllers, and other network devices

¨  will be working on UTM and NG-Firewalls from Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point or Fortune

¨  Documentation preparation LLD and related documents

¨  Monitor network performance and integrity

¨   security and data protection, Control the flow of data and commands within the company network system.

¨   Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

¨   Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

¨  Mentor team members on technical issues

¨   Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

Job Requirements

¨  BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field

¨  5+ years Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer

¨  Professional certification CCNA (ICND 1 and ICND 2) and also CCNP certified, having CCDP, NSE-4, HCNP or other networking or security certificate is a plus

¨  Expert knowledge of splicing fiber cores configuring troubleshooting fiber, GPON, layer 2 and layer 3 devices.

¨  Must have skill in server operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux,

¨  In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, RIP, OSPF, IGRP, DMZ)

¨  Familiarity with access control models and network security

¨  Configure Solar winds. Cisco, Dlink and Huawei switches. (Vlan, Routing, Qos and IP)

¨  Solid understanding of SAN, NAS, and Tiered storage technologies.

¨   Experience and understanding of VOIP solutions from: Cisco, Avaya, Shortel, Mitel.

¨  Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)

¨  Expert knowledge of installing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting network security appliances for the purposes of network firewalling, client VPN and Internet filtering policies.
