Job Description
The Program Development Coordinator (PDC) will coordinate the design and development of proposals along with the development of partnership by building strong presence at the national level in the different clusters. The PDC is expected to contribute substantively to proposal development process and the production of winning proposals that contribute for the SPE strategic growth. Under the direct supervision of Program Development Officer (PDO), the PDC will undertake the following tasks:
Contribute for the proposal development process from writing concept papers, proposal designs and budgets using best practices and lessons learned in coordination with appropriate program units.
Thoroughly reviewing solicitation documents and supporting the creation of comprehensive outlines, compliance matrices, and calendars to guide proposal preparation;
Organizing and helping to facilitate proposal planning meetings with staff and partners, including ensuring all meeting logistics are in place in advance;
Supporting the PDO to collect and compile support documents for proposals;
Supporting proposal production, paying close attention to detail for copy editing, formatting, and ensuring consistency of language and presentation for reviews
Assisting the PDO with desk research and drafting proposal sections as agreed;
Liaison with staff and partners to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards for deliverables;
Assist the PDO with strategic planning and the implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting of newly funded programs.

Maintain the strong values of Samaritan’s Purse, in interactions with colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.
