Specific Duties & Responsibilities of the Position Holder:
Promote, implement and uphold the vision, mission, core values and objectives of the LWF/DWS-ET;
Deliver coordinated & integrated humanitarian interventions to reinforce delivery of impact on the ground, bringing priorities from the grass-roots into the universal periodic review (UPR) process and wider development intervention to align this project with right based approaches at community level,
Contribute inputs on proposal development process in coordination with protection team
Prepare work plan, report (internal and external) with expected time and quality.
Ensure the project or UPR implementation quality and share lessen learning from local to national level.
Build new and/or strengthen existing strategic alliances and networks at the local level by developing a wider partner engagement strategy with LWF;
Define specific change targets with partners that align with structures, policy or implementation in the humanitarian sector and in particular in refugee settings;
Support and lead the community development facilitator in day-to-day protection, access to justice and livelihood activites at Local level.
Participate in coordination meeting and share the project update for concerned stakeholder such for RRS, UNHCR and other protection actors at jigjig level.
Lead the implementation of the Mobile court and coordination with the justice and court at local level.
Respect, accountability, transparency, courage, excellence, initiating actions, innovation, collaboration, building partnerships, communication with impact, negotiation, planning and organizing
Follow all procedures set out in the LWF-ET Staff Rules, Collective Agreement and other operational manuals;
Fulfill such other duties assigned to her by the protection manager/ coordinator,

Required qualification and Work Experience:
Law (LLB) sociology and psychology degree with three years or more work experience in refugee or IDP protection project implementation.
Or master's in human rights, Sociology, or Psychology with one year of work experience in refugee or protection project implementation
Key competencies:
Excellent written and oral English language skills are required, as well as knowledge of the local language (Somali).
Experience working with mobile court services and legal protection in the refugee context;
Ability and experience in coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders such as GOs, NGOs, UN agencies, and community structures.
Ability to work in multicultural settings and under pressure.
