Purpose of the job

As an acronym that stands for enterprise resource planning, you can define ERP as a system that helps automate and manage business processes across finance, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, human resources, and operations. The purpose is to simplify and standardized and optimizing the working method of the organization.

Key Roles and  Responsibilities

• Develop Terms of Reference (ToR) to help assist in high level scoping for the implementation of ERP S/4 HANA and to use as a reference for price quotation by the system Integrator.

• Work with all stakeholders and the selected Integrator in the decision of the implementation scenarios and comprehensive implementation strategy.

• Assist in the preparation of ERP implementation Project Charter.

• Complete oversight of the ERP project Implementation with its full scope.

• Promote the overall company strategy of the digital transformation among all stakeholders.

• Leading seamless Transition to the new envisioned environment by carefully planning the transition roadmap, awareness creation, and proper preparation.

• Make sure that everyone in the company familiar with the value of ERP system by availing ahead a trial system where they can practice ahead.

• Being the first point of contact for internal leadership, SAP Integrators/Implementers, and other project stakeholders.

• Setup and coordinate ERP Project Teams.

• Ensure development of ERP project Plans.

• Management of the project Efficient and Effective project Execution.

• Monitor project progress against the budget, quality, and time deadlines.

• Controlling project deliverables at all levels and ensuring value to the organization.

• Perform formal Project closure and operational handover ensuring early life support.

• Ensure implementation according to the Road map and best practices.

• Participates in functional and integration testing.

• Organize and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with the business users and Solutions team to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented.

• Document test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.

• Work with the business user to define test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.

• Enforce proper testing methodology and develop tests scripts in partnership with the key business users.

• Work in conjunction with the business user to define project scope and project requirements.

• Coordinates and follows up on project related tasks across the business users,

• Should coach and train company IT officer as needed to have understanding about the System end to end.

• Reports all the progress of the implementation weekly to the CEO’s.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in computer science,Information Technology or related field.

Experience

• Experience in ERP System is preferable.

• Excellent communication skill in English and Amharic.

• Strong organization skill with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Prepare project activity reports in a timely manner.
