Job Description
The Branch Manager plans, organizes, directs, and supervise the banking activities of the branch office. Ensures compliance with the Bank’s and regulatory authorities’ guidelines and the country’s laws, procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees. S/He also coordinates the branch’s sales/business development efforts.
In addition, Branch Manager leads customer service initiatives and drives the branch’s operational excellence. Prepare and submits an annual budget, work plan, and activity and progress reports. The job holder will promote the services provided by the Bank by participating in various community activities and interacting closely with the business community.
Qualification: – Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field e.g. accounting, management, economics, business administration
Experience:- Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience out of which One (1) year in a supervisory post.
Required Competencies
Understand the basic mechanisms of general financial products and services.
Knowledge and experience in modern service delivery practices in medium to large banks to guide quality improvements and operational changes.
Good knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.
Ability to respond to basic client inquiries and instructions and the capability of advising and resolving most issues and requests.
Good command of Microsoft Office package.
Good command of Core Banking System and other in-house software
