Job Summary

The receptionist (front desk officer) is responsible for the guest experience within the organization and ensuring those guests have an enjoyable, relaxing Experience by engaging with the guests in a courteous and efficient manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately

  • Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls

  • Provide basic and accurate information in person or via phone /email

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable ,with all necessary stationary and material

  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via reception desk

  • Schedule appointment for guests ensuring that they are booked for correct service at the most convenient times

  • Check guests in and out of their appointment , keep tracking of their service history and preferences

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filling ,photocopying and faxing  

  • Provide excellent customer services to guests

  • Handle guest questions and concerns promptly ,professionally and courteously 

  • Handle customers complaints or concerns in professional and tactful manner , escalating them to the manager

  • Being capable of  giving Big Genuine Smile

  • Executing other duties assigned when assigned. 

Job Requirements

  • 10 +2 / diploma  in reception and customer care

  • Minimum of 1  years’ experience As receptionist

  • Excellent  communication skill  in English & Amharic

  • Strong customer ordination & maintain attention to detail

  • Flexibility to work in shifts
