Roles:

• Review and Design the company’s quality strategies and objectives, based on the overall business strategies;

• Provides quality service and execution of the Company’s  short and long-term plan

• Manages the compliance of products against specifications and standards in the process of quality standard development;

• Ensures and conforms regulations, quality standards, analysis and reporting procedures;

• Monitors and reviews reliability of analytical results and supports quality teams in the interpretation of unexpected results;

• Provides direction on the overall quality management issues in compliance with  Companies and government regulation

• Evaluates the current quality control system and  recommend improved quality assurances practices;

• Evaluates the effectiveness of quality strategy implementation and highlights areas of concern;

• Leads the development of collaborative working relationships within the organization and  in pursuit of the Company’s overall business goals;

• Oversees and provides guidance on strategy, quality, safety, health and environment endeavors;

• Prepares the function’s work plan and budget  and monitors its execution;

• Identifies human resources requirements of the department and develops plan for meeting the requirements;

• Develops policies and procedures for the function and leads in their implementation and continuous review;

• Supports the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue, and feedback;

• Oversees the systematic identification of skill and competency requirements for the function;

• Manages disciplinary concerns of the function decision-making

• Represents the Company in external relationships as required ;

• Takes part in the group decision-making process by forming part of different groups/committees;

• Prepares and submits periodic reports to the SHEQ Director;

• Performs other activities as assigned by the SHEQ Director

1.      Authority: “Quality Assurance Department manager” is authorized to

• Manage, Supervise and Evaluate quality control staff under him/her

• Propose trial and approval of any BOM change

• Approved On-hold, Rework, Reprocess and Reject issues

• Approve any quality reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly…)

• Follow the compliance of products to legal and Company standards

• Authorized to stop production indirectly or Order production teams to Stop immediately if the products fail to comply Legal and company standards

• Approve leave, periderm and other departmental benefits to quality control staffs

• Communication and Execution of Works in relation with Legal and Compulsory Third Party bodies (Like NMIE, ECAE, EFDA, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and etc.)

• Develop annual Plan, Annual budget and Approve departmental budget and purchase requests, store requisition.

• Developing necessary programs, procedures, guidance’s and recommends measures contributing positively for the department’s work aspects

• Arrange, prepare outstanding agenda and lead periodic meetings with subordinates

• Communicate guidance, procedures, measures, etc to manufacturing units etc

• Communicate human resources requirements of the department and enacting the fulfillment

• To be part of and participate in decision- making processes of different groups/committees, Meetings

Job Requirements

BSc Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical engineering, Food Science Minimum of Seven  years2 years in FMCG manufacturing QMS,GSP,GMP,FSMS,HACCP,IQA Certified
