Job Description

Tbab Trading would like to hire qualified personnel for the under-listed positions.

Descriptions of Duties

  • Receives other managers, important customers, government officials and other visitors in courteous and polite manner.

  • Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings; drafts agenda for meetings and takes minutes of such meetings.

  • Types various letters, memoranda, reports and other documents in English and Amharic and proof reads these materials to ensure their accuracy; distributes completed materials to the appropriate persons.

  • Develops files, sorts and files materials systematically.

  • Conducts follow up on pending items, including such items as appointments, meetings, correspondence and reports due.

  • Makes appointments for the General Manager & reminds him/her of the due date & time.

  • Receives in-coming telephone calls, transmits messages and provides information to the concerned.

  • Answers inquiries, makes telephone calls, and passes personal and important mail to the General Manager.

  • Maintains a register for all in-coming and out-going documents and ensures that all documents are distributed to the appropriate parties.

  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters of verbal and written information, drafts routine correspondence and submits to the General Manager for approval;

  • Handles petty cash fund for miscellaneous expenses and gets same replenished against receipts;

  • Maintains the personal file of department managers.

  • Scheduled appoints of high level staff meetings.

  • Maintains and controls the supplies for the General Manager’s Office and requests more as needed.

  • Performs other related activities as assigned by the General Manager. 

Duty station:  Around Wollo sefer

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Education level

  • Bachelor's Degree in  Secretarial  Science /Office Administration and Other Related Fields, Knowledge in IT, 

Required level of experience

  • 3 years of experience
