Job Description
Main Responsibilities and specific tasks include but not limited to the following:
· Provide all the necessary support to the Project Manager and Program Manager to ensure the implementation of the project in accordance with the terms and conditions specified by the donor and implementing partners.
· Actively participate in the development and implementation of weekly and monthly action plans to meet the objectives of the project.
· Establish and maintain professional working relationships with the other implementing partners, relevant Government Authorities and the TVET involved.
· Conduct regular monitoring visits to relevant project sites as per VIS standard.
· Prepare weekly updates and reports to the Project Manager.
· Support the Project Manager and Data Manager in gathering data that will facilitate the implementation of the project effectively and efficiently.
· Actively follow up and support the beneficiaries to properly attend the courses.
· Facilitate the placement of trained beneficiaries in relevant private companies, clusters and MSEs through creating smooth working relationships.
· Arrange meetings and organize trainings and workshops.
· Support in the preparation of purchase requests and subsequent procedures.
· Carry out any other duties that are related to the position.
Expertise:
· First degree or further qualification in international Development, Education, Sociology work, Psychology or any other related field of study;
· At least 3 years of work experience in NGOs and/or in similar positions (in the areas of TVET, local development, promotion of partnership with private sector, youth employment, women empowerment, migration, or education).
· Experience in project with disability and gender component will be an asset.
· Relevant experiences in organizing educational activities, courses, training and public events.
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office 2010, Excel, PowerPoint
· Very good language skills (both English and Amharic)

· Excellent personal and public communication and negotiation skills with all types and levels of stakeholders.
· Ability to take the initiative, multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
· Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and stressful situations.
Personal requirements:
· Capacity to work under pressure.
· Creative, open-minded, flexible, self-learner, dynamic, servant-hearted and problem solver.
Terms of Employment: 12months with possible renovation
