Firew Bekele Construction and Machinery Rental is currently looking for Site Engineer to join our Team
Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for organizing supervision of overall activities of the construction. Ensuring the construction activities are being implemented based on the time and quality.
Ensuring the Construction activities are being implement based on the time and collecting daily data
Preparing Daily reports
Ensuring and recording manpower, materials and machineries appropriately
Ensure that the materials delivered to site have passed Quality Assurance, quality Control inspection for compliance with the contract documents,
Oversee the activities of effective implementation and proper standards are being implemented on Work Site
Ensuring the construction is being implemented on site based on the design.
Implementing Safety precautions are being applied in the work site
Follow up with progress of the projects and update on the delay and making proper measures.
Recommends improvements in work methods, standards and use of equipment and manpower.
Gives daily assignments and instruction of utilization of resources, etc. to his subordinate foremen and other staff.
Requests and insures proper deployment of resources required for the site.
Ensures that all manpower, material and machineries deployment and mutilation is recorded in the daily utilization formats.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil engineering, construction or similar field.
Five years and above relevant experience as Site Engineer
Good Reporting skills
Excellent Communication skills
Ample of experience in overseeing construction sites.
Good understanding of safety standards and scheduling requirements.
Experience managing staff and project tasks.
