Job Description
Sales managers develop sales and targeting strategies for a company. They manage sales teams, allocate sales resources based on the plans, prioritise and follow up on critical leads, develop sales pitches and adjust them over time, and maintain a sales platform to track all leads and sales
An Area Sales Manager is expected to:
Lead the team and service the customers for a particular product and geography
Responsible for planning, budgeting for a particular product and geography
Execute the Business plan approved by the management and propose amendments to such plans
Sales planning and forecasting.
Achieving sales targets as per annual operating plan work towards growth in revenue by increasing depth and width of distribution
Establishing relationships with key customers
Liaising with marketing department for marketing, budgeting & executing BTL campaigns.
Identifying growth areas and execute actions to leverage growth opportunities
Closely monitoring competition activities across the chain
Training, development &motivation of team
Perform regular administration and management activities for the corporation
Job requirements:
MBA graduate with at least 2 years of experience as FMCG sales Manager
BA Degree graduate with at least 4 years of experience as FMCG sales Manager
