Job Description

Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation wishes to invite applicants for Agro-Technical & Technology College (ATTC) in Harar with the following qualification and experience:

Main duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts lecturers and training sessions according to the curricular requirement and contents of the College;

  • Prepares lesson plans and develop up to the standard teaching materials for the courses he/she offers;

  • Assess and evaluates students’ academic performances through summative and formative didactic evaluation methods.

  • Fully commit himself/herself to engage in other curricular or extracurricular activities given by the College

 Number required:  Two (2)

Duty Station: Harar

Salary: EURO 325.-/month

Other Benefits: Housing Allowance Birr 1000 (One thousand Birr/month) Medical Coverage (100%) locally. 

Terms of Employment: renewable contract

Job Requirements

Qualifications:                

  • MSc in Control & Automation Engineering/ in Control & Instrumentation Engineering and Bsc. In Electrical or Industrial Control Engineering or MSc in Power Electronics Engineering and Bsc. In Electrical Power Engineering;

  • CGPA ³ 2.75;

  • Thesis result should be Very Good and above; and

Applicant must:           

  • Have a minimum of two years teaching experience at higher learning institutions;

  • Provide clearance;

  • Have team good spirit;

  • Be of a good conduct and free of any addiction;

  • Be committed to achieve the goal of the college; and                                    

Language:   A good command of spoken & written English
