Job Description
Under general supervision of Team Leader L1/L2, he/she investigate and diagnose mechanic faults, finding solutions and implementing repairs to ensure all vehicles and mechanic systems are working effectively and efficiently; and overhaul services on vehicles and mechanic components, installs and repairs vehicles mechanic.
Main duties & responsibilities
Implement the operation of all mechanic system for industrial vehicles and others
Perform preventive maintenance.
Tests mechanic components and fixes maintenance problems
Performs daily scheduled maintenance without affecting production
Controls the safety of electrical forklifts and components
Repairs and overhauls mechanic components of all type of vehicles
Trouble shoots and repairs mechanic, Hydraulic, pneumatic system on vehicles
Practice the correct operation of repaired and purchased mechanic components.
Disassemble failed mechanical components and repair them
Tests and ensures that maintenance of mechanic components, engine, etc. is carried out according to specifications and maintenance procedures and adjusts if needed.
Records time and spare parts used and submit to concerned supervisor.
Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the work area; must adhere to all safety Policy and accident prevention compliance programs.
Wear all required P.P.E. Protective clothing must be worn during production and cleanup.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by supervisors or managers
Job Requirements
BSC Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and related filled of study and two years of experience is required for BSC graduate.
TVET 10+3 and above in Mechanical and related filled of study with 4 years ‘of relevant experience or
Validated working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission and mechanical systems
Ability to perform work at different awkward positions
Have the ability to work under pressure when required
Team player with good communication skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Good computer skills, in particular Microsoft office and other software implemented by the company.
