Company Profile:
Crown Packaging and Plastics PLC is an ambitious company that produces thermoformed plastic cups and sell for diary and beverage packaging for the Ethiopian market. The company is founded and managed by an international team (Dutch and Ethiopian) and works according to international standards. For that purpose, the company works with high quality machines, tools, spare parts and raw materials that are mainly imported from Western Europe. The factory and main office are currently located in Debre-zeit /Bishoftu/.
Job Description:
Leading the production team with taking full responsibility for the production.
Being responsible for the production machines and their output during one of the three shifts (rotating system).
Helping and leading the senior operators, junior operators and production assistants during the shift.
At the same time also operating one of the production lines yourself, with a junior operator.
Together with the other shift leaders and the production coordinator making production planning.
Other jobs that have to be done in the company.
Maintaining and repairing the machines with the technical team.
Writing reports for the production outputs.
Together with our technical department being responsible for the technical condition of the machines and production lines.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3- 5 years in Manufacturing Industry & machine maintenance
Flexibility in working hours and availability for emergency call.
the ability to lead a team
Good understanding of English language both written and spoken
Well aware of different communication methods
The will to learn new things and take responsibilities.
The will to work according to international standards and quality
The will to (start to) live in Debre-Zeit/ Bishoftu/ or its surrounding
