Fleet officer Responsibilities & Duties 

  •     Manage the company's fleet and coordinate drivers, ensure that all department have full complement of drivers at all times. Responsible for coordinating and managing the fleet including related general administration.                                           

  • Monitor and ensure fleet operation Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices.

  • Develop weekly/monthly field travel schedules, coordinating between program staff and drivers to allocate use of vehicles ...

  • Random check driver attendance, supervision, vista  personally  day  by  day

  • Random check km, fuel , any spare parts -------by weekly

  • Random check Driver & Driving behavior  Analysis 

  • Provide management with monthly reports on vehicle status & usage, fuel issued, servicing, etc

  • The Fleet officer is responsible for planning, directing, , coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles. Fleet manager also serves as the primary contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations.

  • Reporting’s and other system vehicle service functions

  • Collision analysis notes  & solution strategies

  • Accidents and Damage (when ,  cost  , fault, prevention) follow up Recorded 

  • Km report and tripe, fuel, garage , driver attendance, vehicle service, Vehicle repair and maintenance issues,  safety and security record keeping

Job Requirements

·         First Degree in Secretarial Science/Administrative Service management  related field of study with a minimum of 3 year relevant experience

·         Excellent  communication skill  in English & Amharic

·         Strong customer ordination & maintain attention to detail

·         Excellent computer skill – excel , word ,
