Job Description

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to verify receipt of all materials arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity

  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect materials. 

  • Responsible for storage of both main and auxiliary material.

  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized and safe working environment as per government regulation.

  • Ensure all store requisitions are signed and approved by concerned Department Heads (Deputy Manager/Supervisor) and/or G.M.

  • Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.

  • Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter into the inventory/warehouse management system (ERP).

  • Post all material invoices using the WMS (warehouse management system).

  • Follow all standards for issuing and receiving material within the store’s area of operation. 

  • Ensuring that all goods are properly priced and labeled according to company standards.

  • Manage the store layout and conduct stock checks every day.

  • Maintain accurate documenting warehouse transaction and records in terms of manual and computer records.

  • Prepare reports on inventory levels and other data to help managers make business decisions about purchasing new goods or price revision.

  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all staffs, customers and transporters.

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports according to company’s standards to the concerned higher management.

  • Perform physical inventory counts to ensure that all goods are accounted for at the end of each accounting period.

  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisor

Job Requirements

Requirement and work experience

  • BA/Diploma in supply chain Management, business administration, or other related field.

  • Minimum 2 years work experience.
