Job Description

Purpose of Role 

To support the successful implementation of Komari Beverage PLC Human Resource administration and management strategy by:-

 (i) assisting the HR Manager by leading the implementation of HR strategy, policies, procedures and processes;

(ii) implementing effective talent acquisition, motivation and retention strategies and programs; and

(iii) providing consistent, efficient and quality transactional HR services and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Assist the HR Manager with HR strategy implementation

  • Be the focal person for HR service delivery (e.g., consistency, quality, speed)

  • Talent management (including succession planning, career development, learning and development, performance management and so on)

  • Assist the HR manager in monitoring of the provision of consistent HR operational services to HR stakeholders and ensure effective and efficient service delivery enabled by appropriate technologies.

  • Assist the HR Manager in directing the HR operations team to provide a proactive, responsive and expert service across the company.

  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts related to HR operational services

  • Manage regulatory compliance and reporting processes and activities relating to Komari HR activities.

  • Manage routine HR relationships and monitor and control operational interaction.

  • Assist the HR Manager in overseeing the proper handling of disciplinary concerns of the Komari staff.

  • Assist the HR Manager in developing and implementing the department’s plans and objectives.

  • Assit the HR manager in Monitoring and ensuring proper utilization of the Department’s budgets.

  • Identify human resources requirements of the department and develop a plan for meeting the requirements.

  • Assist the HR Manager in collecting training plans and conducting training impact assessment regularly and recommends corrective actions when gaps are created.

  • Handling day-to-day HR inquiries and advising following existing rules and procedures.

  • Assists in the implementation of institutional development packages.

  • Assist the HR team in the recruitment process including, receiving job applications, pre-screening, communication with shortlisted candidates and onboarding the selected candidate.

  • Update and keep institutional HR files; develop, maintain and update PSI/E’s staff statistics and institutional HR correspondences in appropriate computerized database and physical files.

  • Payroll input preparation and terminal payments.

  • Follow up with HR Officers and Coordinate, communicate and record staff holidays and other leaves based on the organization’s policy including leave plan, follow up and leave utilizations.

  • Assist the HR manager and/or Lead the development, implementation and review of relevant Departmental policies and procedures.

  • Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.

  • Assist the HR Manager and/or Lead in managing disciplinary concerns of the Department’s staff.

  • Represent the Organization in external relationships related to the Department when needed.

  • Participate in group decision-making processes by forming part of different groups/committees.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment

  • Has good experience in written and oral communication.

  • Experience managing priorities

  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.

  • Excellent communication skill

  • Attention to Detail

  • Team Works

  • Excellent in using MS Office
