Ablaze Labs is a fast-growing Technology and Engineering Company that’s working towards building the African Economy. We are looking for a methodical Research Analyst who will be responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to markets, operations, finance/accounting, and economics. We need Research Analysts to  survey customer preferences and statistical data in order to support customers during their decision making process regarding product designs, prices and promotions. The successful researcher will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness

You will be Responsible for:

  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis

  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations

  • Compile and collect data-driven research and market intelligence that combine our proprietary data with outside data sets to identify key trends and analyze the momentum of market

  • Implement effective research strategies to map out talent movement and talent trends within specific segments

  • Interpret data and present research findings

  • Assist with custom portfolio company-directed research

  • Understand and develop forward-looking analyses and insights for top tech areas

  • Develop and give stakeholders and entrepreneurs presentations to discuss market trends in tech and other developmental sectors.

  • Support portfolio companies requests with data and category knowledge

  • Design and back test relevant strategies for new fund types.

  • Manipulate datasets, create financial models and summarize findings in a succinct manner for management's usage.

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of different projects and their stakeholders.

  • Reporting on changes, risks, and emerging trends in the markets - on both the regulatory and technology front.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to interpret   large amounts of data and to multi-task

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Values teamwork and is capable of thinking independent

  • Strong communication and presentation skill

  • Excellent knowledge of statistical softwares, databases, MS,  Excel, and PowerPoint skills
