•  Plans and designs the work schedule (site supervision and site handover) in order to meet target dates.

•  Surveys and prepares the corresponding BOQ for collocation/upgrade sites.

• Directs the sub-contractors and coordinates all their electrical/telecom installation activities on his/her sites.

• Coordinates with the Client’s Site Representative(s) to ensure an efficient roll-out of the sites’ work.

• Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Logistics & Procurement, Quality Control, HR & Administration and Accounts) as per i engineering’s internal procedures.

• Ensures that all electrical & telecom works being executed under his/her supervision conform with the client’s specifications, the BOQ and the approved drawings.

• Ensures that all electrical & telecom tools and equipment are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications.

• Reports all progress and troubleshooting at sites on daily basis to the Project Supervisor using i engineering’s reporting formats (Daily Report).

• Takes initiative to perform workmanships on his/her assigned sites.

• Completes and signs all internal Handover documents (Quality Control Checklist) with sub-contractors.

• Performs all necessary tests and readings (Earthing resistance, VSWR/BTF and BER) to ensure that all installations have been done according to the required specifications.

•  Completes and signs all client’s Acceptance documents at the sites.

• Hands over completed sites to the Client.

 OH&S/QMS ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the implementation of OH&S/QMS requirements on all assigned cell sites.

• Fills all related OH&S/QMS documents on sites.

•  Conducts site safety induction by explaining to subcontractors their responsibilities in terms of OH&S requirements of i engineering and clients.

• Ensures that adequate PPE is used by both i eng and Subcontractor team.

• Ensures that safe work procedures are being adhered to.

• Investigates and fills the incident investigation report and shares it with the OH&S representative.

• Ensures emergency drills are conducted on sites.

• Deals directly with the client’s representative on all OH&S matters on sites.

• Reports on any hazard, incident, and accident to the direct supervisor of all assigned sites. 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• 2-5 years of experience in similar field.

• Experience in Telecom construction projects

• Have Experience as TI Coordinator

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BSc. in Electrical and telecom engineering /stream of communication  Engineering or related field
