MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational duties

• Coffee export documentation process and follow-up.

• Manage inventory, processing and logistics for export coffees.

• Inspection follow-up in Ethiopian coffee and tea authority.

• Must oversee the timely completion and procurement of export documentation and shipment of coffee.

• Supervise full logistics follow-up/processes for the export of coffee.

• Evaluate production and transport timeline and improve service delivery.

• Ensure all company procedures are followed in all sourcing and logistics processes.

• Oversee the inventory process of coffee.

• Oversee the activities of the quality compliance officer to ensure the quality of product.

• Ensure production inputs are available and manage replenishment of inputs.

• Handle negotiations and finalize contracts with new and existing clients.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BA in Business Management, Logistics or related field of study.

• At least 2-years of work experience in logistics preferably in the coffee sector.

• Displays ability to work well in a group setting with understanding of corporate hierarchy and chain of reporting.

• Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must. 

 Essential skills

• Driving skill/License (grade 3).
