Job Description
Organization for Social Services, Health and Development (OSSHD) is an Ethiopian Resident Charity organization which is dedicated to intervene in social, health and development aspects of its targeted communities in Ethiopia. It would like to hire a well experienced and competent applicant for the following position.
Major Duties –
Responsible for the overall organization data management system
Responsible for IT related activity of the organization
Responsible for the preparation of dashboard
Responsible to compile data and submitted at timely basis for each project and overall the organization
Responsible to assess data system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.
Acts as an IT technician of the organization
Responsible for the confidentiality of all recordings
Maintain and up - to-date records and regularly notify project team for decision making
Number of Position: One(1)
Contract Period: One year with possible extension based on performance & availability of budget.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience ፡
BA/BSC/MD/MSC/MA/PHD in IT, Computer science, ICT, Statistics, Demography, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or related fields with a minimum of 8/6/4 years of relevant work experience.
Skills:
High skill and competency in data management skills
High level of Computer literacy (Word Processing, Power Point, Spreadsheet, Excel, Access) and other important software like EPI-Info, SPSS, comm-care…etc. are essential;
Skill in developing interactive Dashboards for project monitoring
Ability to work under pressure, priorities and commitment to meet deadlines;
Very good written and spoken in English and Amharic.
Very good typing skills both in English and Amharic languages
Commitment to the aims and objectives of OSSHD.
