Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the construction company, stakeholder parties, and Ethiopian HQ administrative support.

• Collaborate with suppliers, and support in case of issues (missing material, conflicts, etc.) 

• Participate in regular site meetings with the project lead,

• Manage installation equipment and spare parts.

• Ensure the right conditions to receive the material (accessibility, forklifts, openings, and space for intermediate storage).

• Ensure everything is in working order and coordinate with the rental equipment supplier (accounting to report which equipment is on-site, communicating with the provider to make maintenance and repairs, filling the gas tank, and so on).

• Manage storage locations and store documents, make sure that all parties maintain safe and clean working conditions (organize storage areas, clean up packaging material, first aid kits, etc.).

• Help the service teams on site (during the construction, additional staff will be deployed, which will later perform service activities).

• Potentially take over the role of maintenance team leader after handover of the project to the customer

• Manage deliveries (documentation of damages, fill in proof of delivery, report status of deliveries)

• Manage transport, food, and water.

• Track arrival and departure of internal and external staff

• Manage the buses needed for commute and organize the drivers to run.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Technical or Engineering diploma or equivalent is required.

• 7 - 10 years of Operational experience in managing Construction /Implementation Sites by strictly adhering to Project Schedule.

• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical installation

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Understanding of project management methodologies and logistic operations experience

• Must be proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Project.

• Must possess a valid home country driving license.

• Light to moderate lifting required in a Building Site environment.

• Willing to travel domestically.

• Experience with FIDIC Yellow Book 2017 implementations
