Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Receives approved requisitions and collect pro-forma invoices.
Purchases materials, supplies, equipment’s and services as per Mamo Kacha purchasing policies and procedures.
Requisitions and orders merchandise, supplies, and equipment using guidelines, rules, policies, and laws.
Prepares and reviews purchase orders.
Submits all purchased items to the storekeeper through official documents of the organization.
Prepares and reviews bids and orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
Prepares and distributes bid invitations to vendors
Audits invoices and checks for accuracy, receipt of material, and compliance with purchase orders.
Processes competitive procurements and receipts of purchase.
Tracks the status of requisitions and purchase orders.
Maintains and reviews various purchasing and procurement reports and records and maintains files.
Assists with determining the operational minimum and maximum inventory levels
Assists with negotiating settlement complaints and resolving disputes.
Collects and maintains current information regarding sources, prices, and specifications of goods and services.
Maintains records of all purchase transactions.
Qualifications:
· University Degree/College Diploma in Purchasing/Procurement & Supplies Management/Accounting or related field.
Work Experience:
· Minimum of 0/2 year and above experience in procurement activities.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:
· Responsible, trustworthy and reliable.
· Keen observation abilities and alertness.
· Good organizational and communications skill.
