Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors current inventory levels and processes purchasing orders as required;
Conduct periodical inventory count and maintain inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business;
Perform quality checks on inventory in storage and discard items that do not meet company standards;
Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise;
Process and document returns as required by following the established procedures;
Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs;
Compiling inventory balance, price and cost reports on a weekly basis;
Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock and preparing inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items, if any;
Compute figures from production records, sales orders or purchase invoices to obtain up-to-date inventory level;
Able to use inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supply;
Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records;
Assists warehouse manager in developing new ways to efficiently maintain inventory control;
Performs routine clerical and cashier duties, including handling cash and cash-related payments, data entry, and assisting customers;
Other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Requirements
Academic qualification
BA in logistics and supply management or related fields;
Additional qualifications and skill
Excellent understanding of information systems technology;
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Must have excellent arithmetic skills
Must be well organized and handle stressful situations;
Excellent customer service skills
Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies
Well-developed customer orientation and communication skills
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
Years of experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar position
Salary: As per the Company Scale
