REPORTS TO: AGENT & DISTRICT OFFICE COORDINATOR.

All our deliveries to branch cities are on a next day arrival basis. A transit insurance is guaranteed to all deliveries via road transport.
Purpose of the Job: Under the general direction and supervision of the CENTRAL DISTRICT OPERATION DIVISION HEAD, INTERCITY OPERATION COORDINATOR is responsible to perform the branch/central district operational tasks for smooth execution & transportation of shipments, which includes the collection of Deliver Orders, coordination with couriers, branch/central district operational team and other stakeholders, record keeping etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle/handing over of shipments to concerned carriers at the airport/road in coordination with the branch/central district operation office and customs clearing party.
Ensure apparent sound packing of goods and proper labelling of each branch/central district operation office box.
Finalize AWB/Road in accordance with final weight, dimensions as confirmed by the branch/central district operation office booking carriers.
Responsible to attach documents required to travel with AWB/Road Cargo as per branch/central district operation office customer instructions.
Collection of Delivery Orders for branch/central district operation office import shipments from airport/by road and keeping its record.
Preparation and collection of branch/central district operation office billing pertaining to customs clearance and transportation of shipments.
Maintain strong coordination with branch/central district operation office operations team for smooth execution of shipments.
Arrange branch/central district operation office shipments from start to finish and priorities shipments; routine, critical etc.
Receive branch/central district operation office orders from various channels, agents & customers and Quotation to current and potential customers.
Booking shipments with airlines/roads and raising branch/central district operation office job files and the appropriate paperwork Air waybills/Road.
Ensure the branch/central district operation office shipments and follow the correct shipping procedures (post-flight).
Create invoices in the system and new customer profiles in the branch/central district operation office system.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with two (2) years of demonstrated experience, OR
Diploma in HR Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience
Salary: as per the company Scale
