Job Description

Under direct supervision of the chief people officer, the Talent Acquisition Manager, manages the overall provision of staff recruitment and selection process, policies, and plans for the company. Plan, direct, and coordinate staff recruitment management activities in the organization to maximize the use of human resources and maintain functions on recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. The Talent Acquisition Manager will handle the main functions of Recruitment and Selection through organizing and managing various HR plan execution within the organization.

Key Functions

  • Assisting line managers to help them understand and implement recruitment and selection policies and procedures

  • Investigate and determine employee needs

  • Develop a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies

  • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities

  • Plan employee referral programs

  • Use HRIS, Recruitment Marketing tools

  • Source and find candidates qualified for open positions

  • perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast

  • Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.)

  • Reviews employment applications and background check reports

  • Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process

  • Perform employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops

  • Suggest measures for improving employee retention

  • Directs, coordinates and ensures timely job offer, staff contracting, and ensure work permits and other relevant procedures for expat staffs are smoothly handled.

  • Lead, oversee and supervise members of the recruiting team

  • Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles

  • Attend career and college fairs, and similar events

  • Determine HR and recruiting KPIs

  • Create and present KPI reports

  • Ensures personnel forms, confirmation letter, employment contracts, job description, any personnel documentation required at recruitment are documented.

Competences

  • A very good negotiation skill

  • Networking and headhunting skills

  • Proven recruitment experience

  • Active listening skills

  • Computer skill in MS-Word, Ms-Excel and outlook

  • Fluency in English and Amharic language

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive, energetic and team player personality.

Education Qualifications and Requirement

  • BA/MA degree in management, human resource management, business administration, economics or any related fields

Experience

  • Above five years of relevant work experience in recruitment.
