Job Description
Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for providing Maintenance service support within the factory necessary to optimize the efficiency of all Primary and Make/Pack machinery and equipment. This encompasses the planning, organizing, and execution of all activities related to installation, repair, and preventive maintenance undertaken directly by the factory and contracted out to third parties.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Prepare and ensure effective execution of annual Preventive maintenance plan for all equipment in Primary and Make Pack and ensure its implementation. Timely review of the maintenance checklist for continual improvement.
Fully responsible for Primary and MP Spare Parts management (including MRP) and coordinating with other relevant departments for the supply of the items timely.
Responsible to ensure all Primary and MP technical-related tasks/activities are compliant with Integrated Work System requirements and standards, JTI policies & procedures, and existing legal requirements.
Find & establish together with Manufacturing Services the best supplier for new technologies, spare parts, tools & materials for maintenance activities in the whole factory in accordance with P2P requirements.
Support Primary and MP teams to improve machine performance by reducing losses (e.g., downtimes, rejects improvement) through offering specialists support, coaching training to line teams.
Ensure timely availability of backup groups and review with line crews & MP management to ensure the backup group’s list is reviewed to minimize losses.
Responsible to develop technical team capabilities through training and coaching.
Fulfilling any other tasks given by Production Manager / Management.
Job Requirements
Education:
BSc Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field)
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in profound knowledge and experiences of production technologies, good understanding of the technical features of mechanical and electrical systems, Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment, and Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
