Roles:

• Record all finished goods stock movements in the accounting system

• Analyze whether the consumption of raw materials is in line with the standard

• Update standard product cost prices when needed

• Collect and analyze the operational cost data

• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system

• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis

• Provide reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability

• Analyze costs and provide recommendations to achieve cost efficiencies

• Analyze any changes in product size or mixture and provide what effect it has on the cost.

• Prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

• Setting standard costs of new products to be manufactured

• Update the fixed assets register on a regular basis

Job Requirements

• Minimum of BA degree in accounting and finance from a recognized university

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for a private organization and at least 2 years in cost section

• fluent in Amharic and English (speaking and writing), analytical, strong financial knowledge and skills and knowledge of the relevant regulations, strong administration skills, proficient skills in using Microsoft office especially Excel and able to plan effectively and efficiently

• high level of integrity and accountability, serious and hard-working, eager to learn, good feedback mentality, strong communications skills, very structured, team player

• Candidates are required to have good references

• Candidates who have worked for an international company and have experience in a FMCG company are preferred
